Driving over Hannibal's pass in early December and wondering what grass skiing was like I thought to myself how great it is to be part of this crazy world. Sure we get conned into believing in nuclear weapons, terrorism, aliens, the credit crunch crisis but what the hell it's just another crazy human(or alien!!) trying to sell something to another crazy human. So I kept wondering... how are we going to convince skiers that we don't need the white stuff to ski??....and then it snowed and snowed... phew what a sigh of relief. I'm not a good salesman.

So another winter skiing season starts (my 35th winter skiing season I think) and true to itself La Thuile proves to be as reliable as described in my article many years ago HOW TO CHOOSE A SKI RESORT  La Rosiere, the French side of La Thuile gets the major snowfalls this year but sufficient snow makes it's way over the same pass that Hannibal's elephants did 500 years ago......just a little quicker perhaps.

Talking about good sales technique I vowed never to join FACEBOOK as it smacked too much of Big Brother and here we are posting pictures, video's and got to get home to check who's posted who on the wall. What a disaster when the internet goes down........there's alwasy skiing guys.....it's still good.
